About the CEO
Demetria High is the founder & owner of Higher Place Enterprise, LLC, a business for event planning & products, vision coaching, and professional organization. Higher Place Enterprise, LLC established "Declutter with Deme" publicly in 2023, however, Deme has worked for over 15 years as an event planner, vision planner, & organizer.
She is the author of the 2014 release of a 52-week women’s devotional entitled, “Staying in Your Lane/Women's Edition" & of the 2022 release of “Staying in Your Lane: Couples Edition” written along with her late husband, Clarence High, Jr. She has also authored digital guidance material & journals for self-care and self-awareness for the mind which will launch in November of 2024 and available on this October of 2024 for purchase.
She has dedicated herself through vision planning and vision coaching for over 20 years of service to children, young adults, and adults of all ages as well as leaders in churches, organizations, & the community.
She earned her Associates of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a Specialization in Forensic Psychology, Masters of Science Degree in Human Services with a Specialization in Professional Counseling & Contemporary Theo in Family Systems, and currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Biblical Exposition. She is a Certified Event Planner through the New York Institute of Art & Design, and a Certified Professional Organizer through the International Association of Professions Career College. She is also a member of the International Association of Professions Organization (IAOP). She has served in the Criminal Justice field for over 33 years and currently services as the Chief Corrections Counselor at a prison facility and is a POST IT Certified Corrections Officer.
She is the mother of 5 wonderful children and "Nana" of 15 beautfiul grandchildren as well as a mentor to numerous others.
Through all of her achievements, awards, and awareness throughout different levels in her life, the anointing has made the difference in all that she does. Her passion is for others to see that, through organizing your mind, you can organize everything else and live in peace instead of chaos; especially in your own home or work environment.
Her motto in life: "If I can help somebody as I pass along. If I can cheer somebody with a word or a song. If I can show somebody who is traveling wrong; all I need is to reach at least that ONE SOMEBODY; then my living will not be in vain."
